The Institute of Behavioral and Applied Management (IBAM) is a professional association of college and university professors and students who are studying the field of management, and practitioners in business, not-for-profit organizations, and government who have a strong interest in the issues and concerns related to management.
IBAM provides a forum for management educators, business practitioners, and students to share their ideas, research, and experiences in a friendly and supportive environment.
Tired of attending conferences and belonging to organizations where you are one of a cast of thousands or your name badge is more or as important as your contribution? We encourage newcomers and those with experience alike to participate in informative, lively and engaging sessions – both “in session” and during social activities. Mainstream or radical, traditional or innovative, you’ll find topics, workshops, research papers sessions, panels, or symposia at our activities.
In a survey of members…
… our culture of being friendly and collegial ranked #1,
…with “great atmosphere for presenting research and helpful feedback” ranked #2.
When asked ‘How does IBAM help your career?’ our members indicated four reasons (unranked):
* Personal/Teaching Development,
* Networking and Intellectual Development,
* Research Development,
* Supports Administrative Objectives (Proceedings, Publication, Presentation, Professional Service).
